Dr Sergey Kozyrev, Director in the Center of Advanced Studies, St  Petersburg Polytechnic State University, and partner in the NIS-NEST project participated in the International Conference "Scenarios for a Co-ordinated Approach to Sustainable S&T Co-operation with the Eastern Neighbours of the EU" , organised within the framework of the SCOPE-EAST project,  on 3 and 4 of December 2007 in Moscow, Russia.
Within the framework of the workshop in "Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies: Nano-Photonics and Impact of Nano-Materials on Health and Environment", Dr Sergey Kozyrev delivered a presentation on the " Needs and opportunities for International Dialogue on the Impact of Nanotechnology on Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)" and the supporting role of the NIS-NEST project in the EU-RU cooperation.
